Learning, Creating and Sharing 

Yesterday we had an afternoon of learning, creating and sharing. We listened to each other, shared our ideas and all of us in Room 8 worked with an older student and taught them how to use the Explain Everything app. There was a lot of fun and laughter happening right along side the learning...if you'd like to watch a few of our creations just look at yesterday's post!

Making Movies

Today we were learning how to make a movie using the Explain Everything app.

We found it challenging to record when everyone else was talking.

It was great to watch what we had created.

We liked that we had done lots of this by ourselves.

Duplicate and Inspector Tool

Today we learnt how to duplicate objects in Explain Everything. 

 We had to make sure we had the right amount on each page. 

 We are becoming Explain Everything Experts. 

Marley said it was easy to duplicate the animals by tapping the "i" button which is the Inspector Tool. 

Isla said it was easy to change how many there were.

Ruby said it was challenging to remember the order to tap.

Izis said it was hard to count all the things we duplicated.

Rody said it was hard to remember to tap the hand button.

Charlotte said it was hard to count and duplicate at the same time to make sure you had the right number.

Explain Everything - Pinch to resize

We are getting really good at remembering how to make our images get bigger and smaller.

We pinch our fingers apart and together to resize our images.

We are getting really independent at finding the Explain Everything Projects on the 

Room 8 class site and opening them on our iPads.

We were working on our Maths Shapes project today.

We remembered how to take a photo, lasso it, 

then pinch in and out to make it bigger and smaller.
