Sharing and Celebrating our Distance Learning Term 2 2020

Welcome to our 2020 Blog!

We have begun having lessons with Mrs Torrie every Thursday afternoon on our ipads. We have learnt how to hug and hold when we are moving about the class with them. We have also learned how to take a selfie and a picture of our friend.

Our most recent learning is on how to use the Explain Everything app. We have learned 

• how to take a photo and place in into a project. 
• how to "bin'" the photo if we don't like it and start again!
• how to find the pencil icon and choose different colours to write our names.

Learn, Create and Share - Collaborative learning between Rooms 8 & 1

Learning, Creating and Sharing 

Yesterday we had an afternoon of learning, creating and sharing. We listened to each other, shared our ideas and all of us in Room 8 worked with an older student and taught them how to use the Explain Everything app. There was a lot of fun and laughter happening right along side the learning...if you'd like to watch a few of our creations just look at yesterday's post!

Room 8 had to teach Room 1 how to use Explain Everything.
Explain Everything is the iPad app we use in Room 8.
